Huge Antique Abraham Sacrifice Issac Painting Nebraska Odd Fellows Lodge

Availability: Out of stock

This amazing huge antique Odd Fellows lodge painting depicts Abraham about to sacrifice Isaac with an angel stopping him. We believe it is representative of the initiation ceremony of a new candidate for membership in the lodge. It was painted in 1915 by A. L. Necker of Sioux City, Iowa and purchased by the Walla Walla Lodge #56 of North Platte, Nebraska in 1916. The lodge was founded in Lincoln County back in 1875 by the Grand Lodge of Nebraska. It is a massive well done painting and does have a few areas of damage which are pictured. It is decorated with the I.O.O.F No. 23 along the top of the wood frame which measures about 78" wide x 56" high x 1 1/2" thick. Circa 1915
