This is a rare Union Pacific Rail Road tapered switch key dated 1890 and marked UPRR on the front.The back is maker marked J.N. Bake and the serial number #1151.This is the only dated switch key i have ever owned as well as the only time i have ever seen this maker.This is a great early piece with nice age wear that would be a nice addition to any railroad collection.
