This pair of step in antique shotgun leather chaps probably date to the 1880s-1890s era making them the oldest we have ever owned and quite a rare find.They have pockets with rolled leather buttons and fringe down the legs with a nice tooled leather design waist belt.The chaps show plenty of wear with some tears along with the leather being dry and stiff but for their age just being able to locate chaps belonging to a real cowboy from the last century is becoming almost impossible to do.
