This is a beautifully colored original old postcard of Buffalo Bill marked Genuine Curteich-Chicago-CT American Art.It reads on the front Colonel W.F. Cody (Buffalo Bill) and North Platte,Nebraska as Buffalo Bills hometown.On the back it has a short summary of his life that reads the name of Buffalo Bill famous plainsman,indian fighter and government scout is inseparably linked with overland route history.
I acquired these from a retired couple who used to operate a campground and horse trail ride through the canyons in Nebraska and they date to the 1930s or 1940s.
