This is an authentic vintage East Germany border patrol officers uniform including coat,pants and with matching hat all in excellent condition.These military guards were responsible for patroling the borders of this communist country to prevent its citizens from escaping to the west.In some cases they were given orders to shoot in which civilians were shot and killed attempting to escape.
