This wonderful antique cash register model 311 in a copper oxidized finish decorative scroll design with an oak base is from the National Cash Register Company and dates to 1915.It is in excellent working condition including the cha ching sound when you hit the key and open the cash drawer.This size of cash register was most commonly used in candy and cigar stores or barbershops ringing up denominations from 5 cents to $1.00.This model 311 is a rare machine being produced in much smaller quantities than others of its time having been made with the solid top as opposed to the more common marble or glass top.The pictures may not reflect the true coloring and patina of this register because of lighting and flash and the overall dimensions are 10" wide by 16" deep by 17" tall.
