This is a rare antique ticker tape machine fire alarm made by The Gamewell Co. which was used by the fire department to notify them when an actual fire was burning.A signal is sent in code after being activated by one of many fire alarm boxes set up around the town.It is in nice condition with beveled glass panels on the top and ends with only one corner of one glass nicked.It has a cast base and still even has a roll of the ticker tape included which would probably still work to this day.It is quite heavy and measures 5" x 10" x 11" high.
