This hard to find antique 1915 Nebraska license plate is the first year the state of Nebraska furnished license plates to its residents.Only a single plate was issued per registered automobile until 1921 when they began issuing license plates in pairs.Prior to this the car owner had to make his own out of leather with attached metal numbers.
