Vintage Fram Oil Filter Advertising Can Cigarette Lighter & Ashtray

This vintage Fram oil filter advertising cigarette light and ashtray set are designed in the shape of an oil filter. Fram was founded back in 1932 when two chemists named Frederick Franklin and T. Edward Aldam invented an easily replaceable oil filtering element in their Providence,Rhode Island laboratory. The lighter does still work with the cans showing some wear and they measure about 5" in size. Circa 1950s/60s
