This antique 1880s Victorian Burl Walnut cylinder barrel roll secretary bookcase stands over seven foot tall and is two separate pieces. It has a pigeon hole desk interior with some drawers and offers some file storage in the bottom door area as well as there is a writing surface that pulls out with original worn felt on it. The bookcase shelves are not there but you could either have some made or even possibly find some. In one of the pictures you can see there is a piece of roll trim missing on the left side and the right side roll trim was broke off but it is there and just needs to be secured back on. It is missing one knob on the cylinder as well as a keyhole cover for the lower file door but this style of hardware can typically be found on ebay for sale. This desk has the original finish which is still in pretty good condition and does need some work done on it but would be beautiful sitting in anyone's home. The overall height is about 88" with the widest width measurement of 40 1/2" and 24" deep.
