This pair of antique spurs come with leather straps telling a story of their history. It appears they were some kind of a prize given out at the Ogallala, Nebraska rodeo back in 1940 by a local blacksmith/machine shop named Bush & Son. The word prize is carved into them along with the other details making them an interesting piece of western history with a story behind them. I do not know whether these spurs were made by the blacksmith or who the maker was.
