Antique Civil War 1859 US Cavalry Horse Ring Bit Brass Buttons Wilstach & Co

This antique Civil War US Cavalry model 1859 ring bit with brass rosettes or bosses on each side is maker marked W & Co. which i believe stands for Wilstach & Co. and also has G.B. stamped on it which we assume is an inspectors mark. This is a hard to find bit especially by this maker and it appear s to be in nice original condition. This came out of a museum/personal collection that includes western, military and related memorabilia that goes back as far as the Civil War.
