Antiquer Newhouse Community No 5 Bear Trap & Chain 2" Teeth

This original antique Newhouse Community No. 5 bear trap with the chain has 2" teeth and measures 36" long. As you can see its in rustic condition and has an ancient repair to the jaws. The springs still have spring and the previous owner says it still sets but we can not verify that. What a piece of trapping history that no doubt could tell some great stories. It would make great decor in a lodge or even a man cave and with the repair this is a one of a kind trap that weighs 18 pounds.
