This is a pair of original vintage Mid Century Lloyd Manufacturing patio chaise lounge chairs made using their loom process to produce a type of wicker fabric in combination with a steel frame. These chairs dating to the 1950's/1960's era are in excellent condition for their age with no damage to the material other than age wear from people sliding on and off the chairs. The chairs retain the bounce to their base and the arm rests which fold up and down are in excellent condition as well. At one time the chairs had head cushions which can easily be made for it to your liking if you so choose. The chairs measures about 46" in height at the top of the back and will require some disassembly for shipping in two separate boxes to lessen shipping costs.

The Lloyd Manufacturing Company which was located in Menominee, Michigan was founded by Marshall Lloyd in 1906. He developed a process in which cellulose strands were woven into a wicker fabric rather than wrapping cane around a frame which was popular at the time. In 1982 Lloyd Manufacturing was acquired from Heywood-Wakefield by Don and Dudley Flanders who formed Lloyd Flanders and continued manufacturing modern loom furniture which continues to this day over a 100 years later.
