Unusual Vintage Yellow WW2 Army Helmet Germany 1945 & Shrapnel Dent

This vintage World War 2 US Army helmet has an unusual yellow color paint finish with Germany 4-8-45 marked on it and what appears to be a bullet/shrapnel dent in it. The helmet comes with a chin strap and there is a piece of rolled edge gone. This came out of a closed down bar in Nebraska where it had been on display for decades.
